The City of Los Angeles proudly recognizes and remembers Ma'soumeh Dadehbala, also known as Hayedeh for her profound artistic contributions to the Iranian community as one of the most outstanding soprano singers of all time. The generous love and unending accolades from her nation transcended her to become a national icon and diva. During the Islamic revolution of 1979, she was forced to flee her beloved home country, and relocated to the United States where she dedicated her life to the Iranian American community in the City of Los Angeles. She spent her days in the heart of Tehrangeles in Westwood. Hayedeh's albums are still best sellers and her songs are ageless songs that have carried on her legacy. Hayedeh was graceful, uniquely talented, and shared with all her passion and love. We join in celebrating her life along with all who knew and loved her.
