Busy pilot girl who doesn't really like Christmas (because her father passed away on Christmas eve when she was young) captains a chartered plane that gets grounded on Christmas Island in Nova Scotia (due to stormy weather in between there and Europe in the middle of the Atlantic). The flight is delayed a couple days, even though they walk around the town and it's like blue sky outside most of the movie.
