- His devilish grin helped Nicholson become one of Hollywood's best loved stars and created some of cinema's most charismatic anti-heroes. He has been nominated for 12 Oscars and won Best Actor for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) and As Good as It Gets (1997)
- At 17, Nicholson moved to L.A and worked as a mail boy for MGM. He then appeared in nearly 20 low-budget films before considering quitting as an actor. Luckily, Easy Rider (1969) proved to be a huge hit
- Nicholson lived in the same house on Mulholland Drive for over 30 years and was neighbor to Marlon Brando - the road was nicknamed 'Bad Boy Drive'
