• He was known as Suicide Lehrman because he would ask the stunt men to do very dangerous stunts!
• In 1921 he lived with his fiance silent film actress Virginia Rappe. She died after partying in a hotel room with Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle on Labor Day of that year. Arbuckle was acquitted of all charges but it was a huge scandal!
