The Los Angeles Rams are a professional American football team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Los Angeles Rams:
  • The Rams compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the National Football Conference (NFC) West division.
  • They was founded in 1936 as the Cleveland Rams in Cleveland, Ohio.
  • They won the 1945 NFL Championship Game, then moved to Los Angeles in 1946.

The only NFL championship team to play the following season in another city

  • The club played its home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
  • 1980: They move into a reconstructed Anaheim Stadium in Orange County, California.
  • 1979: The Rams make their first Super Bowl appearance, losing Super Bowl XIV to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31–19.
  • 1995: The Rams leave southern California and move to Saint Louis, Missouri, becoming the Saint Louis Rams.
  • 2000: They defeat the Tennessee Titans to win Super Bowl XXXIV, 23–16.
  • 2002: They lost Super Bowl XXXVI, 20–17, to the New England Patriots.
  • 2016: They move back to Los Angeles.
  • 2019: Rams appear in Super Bowl LIII but lose to the Patriots, 13–3.
  • 2020: SoFi Stadium era begins
  • 2022: Rams win Super Bowl LVI 23–20 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

They are the only NFL franchise to win championships representing three cities: Cleveland in 1945, Los Angeles in 1951 and 2021, and St. Louis in 1999
