  • Stewart was passionate about flying and serving his country in the WWII effort. He served with the Air Corps rising to the rank of a Colonel and received the Distinguished Service Medal. After the war he remained with the US Air Force Reserves and was promoted to Brigadier General (USAF Reserve)
