- Bob Hope is in The Guinness Book of Records as the Most Honored and Decorated Entertainer. He garnered 58 honorary degrees and has four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Motion Pictures, Radio, Live Theatre, and Television
- In 2003, the airport authority of Burbank CA, voted to change their name to Bob Hope Airport in honor of the comedian. The new name was unveiled on the 100th anniversary of the Wright brothers' first flight in 1903, the same year that Hope was born
- President John F. Kennedy presented Bob Hope with the Congressional Medal of Honor on September 11, 1963

A Letter From Bob Hope
As film and cinema flourished so too did Madame Tussauds' relationship with the stars of Hollywood.
Bob Hope wrote to Madame Tussaud's great-great-grandson Bernard Tussaud thanking him for the loan of Bob Hope and Bing Crosby's wax figures to the Wood Green Theatre, London for a special televised event in 1956.
