Mission Produce was founded in 1983 by produce industry veterans and avocado growers Steve Barnard and Ed Williams. They saw the potential for avocados early and started building the groundwork for what is now the most advanced global avocado network ever created.

All of our ranches across the globe are carefully managed by a network of agricultural experts. We make choice investments in the land and communities where we grow to help ensure each and every avocado we grow is healthy, delicious and ready to market.
Once avocados are harvested in certain origins, we hydrocool them before they enter our packing facility. Hydrocooling enhances the shelf life and minimizes fruit damage.
