Cesar Izturis

Although Cesar was hitting .292 at the 2004 break, he did not make the NL All-Star Team. But after he won his first Rawlings Gold Glove Award, voters could not overlook him in '05, when his .275 first-half average was comparable to his final mark the year before. Unfortunately, Izturis had to decline the invitation due to a hamstring injury.
