The dates on this sign are incorrect: the Dodgers' final year at Ebbets Field was 1957, not 1962.
However, this error is understandable. The inaugural season at Dodger Stadium was in 1962, but the Dodgers did not move straight to Dodger Stadium from Ebbets Field. After leaving Brooklyn at the end of the 1957 season, the Dodgers played at the Los Angeles Coliseum from 1958-1961 while Dodger Stadium was being designed and built. These four years at the Coliseum are sometimes forgotten, explaining why the year on the sign is wrong.
