Trea Turner was acquired by the Dodgers in advance of MLB's trade deadline from Washington on July 30, 2021. He went on to hit .338 for the Dodgers in 52 games, which set his season-ending average at a Major-League leading .328. He became the first Dodger to win a National League batting title and lead the league in steals since Jackie Robinson in 1949.
