The original Jersey Lilly Saloon stands in Langtry, Texas and was named after a famous English actress of the 1800s, Lilly Langtry.
Our exact replica was built in 1947.
Of all the Western legends, Judge Roy Beans is one of the most romantic.
Although he was in love with Miss Lilly for years, he never met her because he died a few months before she came to Langtry to see the town named in her honor.
Though he was only a Justice of the Peace, Roy Bean became known as "The Law West of the Pecos".
With a combination of Texas law and his own homespun justice, the Judge did his bit to preserve law and order in the wild and wooly West, as well as adding a colorful chapter to history.
